Load Limiters on Temporary Shoring Structures: Tests on a Full-Scale Building Structure under Construction

Temporary shoring structures are used in the construction of reinforced concrete buildings to transmit loads newly poured slabs onto lower floors. The main problems involved use shores/props are: (1) possibility having higher than those initially foreseen, and (2) structural efficiency cost system, which is normally oversized due being designed bear maximum load most demanding building operation. This paper describes a test carried out on full-scale one-story analyze behavior limiters (LLs) installed shores under actual loading conditions. theoretical approach development this new LL concept were described previous papers. Because these LLs still had not been tested buildings, covers existing need for form “proof concept.” It also includes computer simulations recommendations LLs.
